Sales Development Rep

As part of our SDR team, you’ll be the first friendly face (and voice!) that potential clients meet, helping introduce them to the world of Freshly Pressed and our clients and uncover how we can help bring their vision and goals to life.

What you’ll be doing:
Researching and identifying value-aligned businesses and founders who could benefit from our services and our clients’
Creating authentic, personalized outreach that reflects who we are — no robotic cold calls here
Building and nurturing relationships with prospective clients and collaborators
Qualifying leads and setting up discovery calls for leadership teams
Collaborating on growth strategies, referral partnerships, and aligned visibility opportunities
Sharing insights, trends, and feedback to help inform our offers, marketing, and positioning
Maintaining clean and organized records in CRMs and project management platforms
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have 1–3 years of experience in outreach, biz dev, community-building, or strategic sales (bonus if it’s in tech)
Are a strong communicator with a warm, approachable style — you lead with listening, not selling
Are curious and resourceful — you love learning about different businesses and spotting creative fits
Have an eye for detail and care about crafting a high-touch experience at every stage
Believe in the power of values-led work, and want to help good people do great things
Are organized, self-motivated, and love owning your part of the process from start to finish

The Details:
Compensation: Base salary of $2,000/month CAD + healthy commission on closed, qualified leads
Commission: Account-specific, details shared in interview
Contract role: Outcome focused, input mirrors output
Reports to: CEO + Client Success Manager
Work style: Remote-flexible, async-friendly — we care more about outcomes than 9–5
Location: Anywhere, business level English fluency is required.
