Intermediate Brand Strategist

We’re on the hunt for an Intermediate Brand Strategist to join our creative team!
If you live for big ideas, love shaping brands that lead with purpose, and thrive in a collaborative, heart-led environment — this one’s for you. You’ll be the strategic force behind the brands we build, diving deep into research, insight, and positioning to help our clients lead with clarity, confidence, and connection.

You’re not just a strategist. You’re a storyteller, a trend-watcher, a meaning-maker. You ask the right questions, spot the “why” behind the “what,” and have a gift for translating vision into brand experiences that actually move people. You love the dance between logic and creativity, thinking deeply and acting decisively. If that sounds like your jam — we’re ready for you.

A look into a day-in-the-life with us:

You start the day settling in with your favorite drink (coffee, matcha, maybe a sparkling water lineup?) and pop into a quick check-in with the creative team. You're reviewing the strategy deck you built for a bold new brand — the vibe is fresh, ambitious, and your insight is the glue holding everything together. You're the voice of clarity — connecting the dots between vision, audience, and design.

Next, you're leading a discovery session with a new client. You ask the right questions, dig into the “why,” and start uncovering the real story behind their brand and business. Insights are already forming — and you’re excited to bring them to life.

You head into solo work time, diving into competitor research and audience personas. You’re looking for the white space — the place where your client can stand out in a meaningful way. It’s a mix of instinct and evidence, and you’re fluent in both.

You check in with the design team to align on visuals, helping bridge creative with strategy. Everything ties back to the brand foundation you’ve built, and you’re making sure the story stays consistent, cohesive, and compelling.

Your inbox pings — a client has a follow-up question on a workshop. You send back a clear, friendly reply that reassures and educates. You’re a guide as much as a strategist, and our clients trust you because you get it.

And tomorrow? You get to do it all over again, with a new set of stories to shape.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating closely with our team and clients to develop strategic brand foundations — think purpose, values, audience insights, brand voice, and positioning.

  • Leading and facilitating brand discovery workshops and creative strategy sessions.

  • Conducting in-depth research on industries, audiences, competitors, and trends to uncover brand opportunities.

  • Creating compelling, insight-driven briefs and brand strategy documents that inspire the creative team and inform design direction.

  • Supporting the development of naming, messaging, and content frameworks that align with each brand’s unique identity.

  • Partnering with the design team to ensure creative output aligns with the strategic direction (and then some).

  • Helping clients understand the “why” behind the work, guiding them through strategy presentations with clarity and care.

  • Continuously refining and evolving our internal brand strategy processes to keep things fresh and effective.

What makes you a great fit:

  • 3+ years of experience in a brand strategy or related strategic role (agency or in-house).

  • Strong understanding of brand development, marketing fundamentals, and audience psychographics.

  • You’re a curious thinker and natural communicator — both written and verbal.

  • Comfortable running client sessions, asking big questions, and navigating diverse perspectives.

  • You’ve got a strong visual sensibility and understand how design and strategy go hand in hand.

  • Super organized and self-motivated, with a love for clarity, timelines, and follow-through.

  • You balance logic and emotion, head and heart — and know how to apply both when crafting brand strategy.

  • You’re collaborative to the core, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving creative environment.
