Big Heart Highlight

Our first Big Heart project is officially complete and off to the presses. This past quarter, we worked with Sonshine Community Services to bring their annual report to life along with a master slide deck for their Annual General Meeting.

Our goal was to embody the mission, energy and impact that Sonshine has made, and continues to make in our community; opting for a clean, bright and playful style for this year’s theme.

Sonshine is so grateful for the support of Freshly Pressed through their Big Heart grant. The wonderful team at Freshly Pressed took the initial ideas for our Annual Report and AGM slide deck and transformed them into beautiful, professional documents which help tell our story in a fresh and impactful manner. This grant enabled us to place more focus where it matters most: on the incredible clients we're privileged to serve. It takes a community, and we cannot end family violence and abuse without the support of incredible partners like Freshly Pressed. For those of you who may not know, Sonshine Community Services has been bringing healing and hope to families in need since 1978 when individuals from Calgary’s River Park Church set out to serve homeless families in their community. Over the years, Sonshine’s services have evolved into a full range of residential and outreach programs specializing in developing healthy families and helping families impacted by family violence in Calgary and area.
